RATZINGER RESIGNS: WHAT NEXT?
Dear Friends:
Today Joseph Ratzinger (aka Benedict XVI) stunned the world by announcing to a consistory (convocation) of his College of Cardinals that he is resigning his "papacy" at the end of this month, rather than serving until his death as popes customarily do.
The End-Times Endgame Heats Up
I believe this action -- and its aftermath, whichever way that goes (see below) -- will elevate the diabolical deception of these last days (2 Thessalonians 2) to the next level.
All that the clever counterfeit church spawned by the Second Vatican Council now needs to do, to convince even greater numbers of confused conservatives that we have turned a corner and that the turmoil of the post-Vatican II era is largely behind us, is this: elect someone who is even more "traditional" than Ratzinger was perceived to be -- someone even more critical of the doctrinal disarray, the liturgical licentiousness, and the moral madhouse that constitutes the counterfeit Catholicism of our day. If I were engineering the next phase of the Vatican II deception, that is certainly what I would do.
Of course I am no prophet, merely a fallible layman. And the devil (with the divine permission, as both testaments teach) could certainly take the opposite tack and achieve an equal, although alternative, success. Satan could -- invalidly and illicitly, of course (as he has already done with the last five men, in fulfillment of Biblical prophecy and type) -- place a progressive on the throne of St. Peter, who would further the Vatican II revolution by claiming to overturn the Church's perennial teaching (as if one could!) on birth control, then full "sacramental" communion for the divorced and remarried, then homosexuality and same-sex marriage, then women deacons and eventually priests, etc. etc.
I will be examining with great interest the dossiers of the various papabili (likely papal candidates) of the Vatican II church over the coming days, so as to be ready with an already-prepared profile of Ratzinger's successor as soon as he is elected on or after February 28.
Our needed response
I see this as a pivotal moment in the end-times endgame -- perhaps the most significant event since the Second Vatican Council and its postconciliar promulgation of the New Mass and sacraments, New Catechism, and New Code of Canon Law.
And I believe this makes our continued production of new CD titles in our "Recusant Recordings for the 21st Century" series all the more imperative. The very next CD to be released will therefore be an analysis of the new successor of Ratzinger as antipope of the Vatican II anti-church.
That will be followed, God willing, by a long-awaited CD on "Unauthorized Shepherds: Why the Clergy (present and ex-) of the SSPX, SSPV, CMRI and other post-Vatican II Sects Are Not Priests of the Roman Catholic Church, Due to Lack of Canonical Mission." Several other equally controversial titles will follow throughout the year.
I want to thank those few who have so far responded to our recent appeal for the necessary funds to help us acquire the CD printer/duplicator I need to be able to continue to produce CDs of my talks. The duplicator/printer by itself is costly enough, but the individual-color ink cartridges that the printer will need in order to print the CDs, as well as the hundreds of blank CDs needed, even just for our first run of the above two titles -- not to mention the 25-CD apologetics course entitled "Riding the Train of Truth All the Way to the End of the Line," Part Five of "The Plot Against the Church" (8 CDs), and other soon forthcoming CD sets and single CDs -- leave us still needing about $1000.
I'm therefore looking for 20 donors -- among those who have not already responded -- who are willing to donate $50 each to help us complete our purchase of the requisite materials. (If you can afford to give more than $50, we can reach our goal faster.)
Everyone donating $50 or more will be mailed a copy of each of these two CDs (the one on Ratzinger's successor and the one on the unauthorized clergy of the post-Vatican II traditionalist movement) as soon as they roll off the presses. (If you've already responded to my recent appeal to help us acquire the CD duplicator/printer, you will already be receiving these two CDs.)
I realize that some of you may be as poor as we are, and may not be able to afford to donate even $50 at this time. Whatever amount you can send is deeply appreciated, and I'll be happy to send you one of these CDs to express my thanks.

Today, the Monday before Ash Wednesday, is the anniversary of another major milestone in my life and my understanding of the current crisis, which I had intended to write about here today, before I received Ratzinger's announcement. I will discuss that (related) issue in an addendum I will post here later this week, hopefully.
And may we all never forget this: despite all appearances to the contrary (which constitute, I believe, the supreme test of the end times), our sovereign God is firmly in control of human history. And He is guiding it unerringly to its foreordained consummation: Christ's mighty, definitive, and everlasting triumph over all His enemies, and the bringing of His elect Bride to final glory.
